Abe attended Colin Mann Primary School, and spent most of his high school career at Germiston High (apart from a break in Standard 8, when his family moved to Natal for his Dad to complete a contract).
Abe ran a steel business for some years, then went into the ministry. He is currently pastor of The Fireplace Church in Lambton, Germiston.
