Jan Coenraad Visser travelled as a soldier on the VOC ship Dort or Dordrecht, from Goeree on 17 December 1657, and arrived at the Cape of Good Hope on 28 April 1658.

Maria van Negapatnam, Testament 1718 (from Wikitree)

Maria van Negapatnam was owned by Jan Coenraad Visser, ~1691. On 24 March 1696, Maria van Negapatnam was emancipated by Jan Coenraad Visser, along with her children, Anthony Visser (4), Susanna Visser (2), and Jacobus Visser (1). This emancipation was to take effect on Visser's death which would occur by 1700. However, the emancipation may have become fully effective only in 1702.
